In the app
- Open Handover and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete my account under Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away.
Without the app
Write to handover@rainybit.dk
with the subject "Delete my Handover account", from the email address you sign in with.
We delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name and language.
- Your phones and their keys, and your sealed envelope with all its codes.
- If you own the household and nobody else is in it: the whole handbook, pictures and invitations.
- If others are in the household: you are removed from it. What you wrote together stays with the household, so the others keep their handbook.
What is kept, and for how long
- Server logs (times and IP addresses) are deleted automatically after a short time.
- Backups are deleted after 30 days at most.
